THE CLUB “ECOTURISMO EN ESPAÑA” (ECOTOURISM IN SPAIN) CREATES A ‘PORTAL’ GATHERING THE DIFFERENT OFFERS MADE BY COMPANIES INVOLVED IN SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

With the development of this portal, the entity, belonging to the European Network of Ecotourism aims at giving space for the current offer in ecotourism, with the collaboration of the companies, with the European Map of Sustainable Tourism.

Ecowildlife Travel joins this new portal to promote ecotourism and give its support to the club, as well as the brand.

Ecowildlife Travel offres birdwatching programs for the most emblematic countries of the world. Birwatching increases the possibilities for the responsible tourism with a conservationist effort.

 

Birdwatching is spreading as a kind of tourism with more and more fans. This is a kind of tourism with a conservationist effort, the birds watching as a reflection of the respect and conservation of the natural spaces.

In Ecowildlife Travel, aware with the importance that these animals and natural spaces have to ensure their conservation, we have prepared a catalogue of birdwatching around the world, to discover the natural spaces with the best and most curious population of birds in the world.

ECOWILDLIFE TRAVEL, a Spanish company belonging to the Internacional Ecotourism Society, presents Wildlife Spain coinciding with the International Day for Biological Diversity.

 

Ecowildlife Travel is presenting on May 15th its new product : Wildlife Spain. The presentation will take place in the National Geographic Madrid Store, at 7:30 PM.

 

This new product is a bet for national and international ecotourism. We offer yours throughout Spain to discover the natural and national parks of the Iberian Peninsula and the biodiversity of our country.

THE TRIOMPH OF THE WOLF PROTECTION IN SOUTH DUERO

 

The Suprem Court confirmed the last April 11th the prohibition of hunting the wolf in the south of Duero. The farmers disagree with this new regulation because of the high quantity of attacks by the wolf to their livestock.

LESS LYNXES IN DOÑANA

 

The population of lynxes living in Doñana decreased last year in 3 exemplars, from 312 in 2011 to 309 in 2012. That supposes the first decreasing since 2007 of these felines in danger of extinction.

GOOD TIME FOR THE BEAR IN SPAIN

 

The population of bears in Cantabria has increased threefold in the last 20 years. Today there are near that 180 bears in the area. Even so, their watching is difficult because of their unsociable character, but with a professional guide you can see them in their original habitat. The best months to see them are from May to September.

GLOBAL NATURE PROMUEVE UN PROYECTO DE SENDERISMO ADAPTADO EN MONFRAGÜE

 

The Global Nature Foundation is promoting a volunteering Project of hiking adapted with “joelette” that will permit to people with physical disability discover parts of the National Park of Monfragüe.

THE CLIMATE CHANGE IS CHANGING THE MIGRATORY BIRDS CONDUCTS

 

Thousands of migratory birds are changing their conducts. The investigators think that not only the climate change is the cause. Also some of the human actions are changing the natural environments and influence the bird decision to change their routes. The ethologists are investigating which could be the consequences of this for millions of animals that every year are doing the migration related with the reproduction.
